Couple of Comments:
Love the forward section, looks like it could detach and connect on to other
vehicles. The detailing and curviture to the front gives it a smooth
connection to the hanger portion. I don’t think the mechs are too small.
Their size makes me wonder what kind of concentrated tech is used on those.
Lastly, the space in the hanger has a lot of potential for work crews,
maintenance equipment or some device which allows them to drop from a moving
ship.

It’s interesting that you would mention that the front section looks like it
could detach. Actually the front section, the back section, and each of the
three mech bays are separate modules connected by technic pins. However, I
reinforced the technic connections with bricks and plates to prevent sagging and
flexing.
