Kyle, I like the color scheme, the lifting doors, the weapons array, and the engine are neat, but I’ve got a few issues, and they have nothing to do with your building style or how it looks--it’s more of a few technical/physics/science-based questions.

If this dropship is going to be used in atmospheric conditions, your ship may have a few lift issues (then again, we didn’t see the bottom of the ship..), as it looks like your engine is providing motion in only one direction.

You might want to consider either wings, or angled jets for lift purposes.

Just an idea...if you were able to put some side engines on it, it may increase the width of the mid and rear of the vehicle, and give you some more room to put more troopers inside...ooh..wait..wider body means more surface area to assist with lift, too!

I’m glad you enjoyed the dropship, Scott. I assume that it would fly around by means of a point-source graviton generator, so it wouldn’t need vectored thrust or aerodynamic lift (they’re not engines, they’re generators of some kind). Given that fact, I would guess the optimum aerodynamic configuration would be an elongated cylinder with minimal cross-section (like a missile). Of course the greebs and massive missle banks totally blow that line of reasoning. Oh well.

Thanks for the reply!

BTW, the last few pics in the gallery do show the bottom of the ship.
