Thanks, Eric. The joints do somewhat allow for larger, more stable mecha
creations. However, TLG could expand on the new joint systems potential by
designing 3 or 4 more elements- such as a 4x4 plate with a click-pin on the
bottom for a torso base, a 2x4 studded pelvis brick with 3 click-sockets (1 for
the waist and 2 for the hips), a 2x1 brick with a click-pin, and a 2x1
modification of the Alpha Team II era click-socket bricks, which are currently
2x2.
