Check out my latest experiment with the new clicking ball and socket hinges, the
"Spartan"-

With this one, unlike my "Juggernaut" design, I left the hinges exposed for the
sake of lightness and used the Alpla Team socket bricks at the shoulders and
hips to achieve a slimmer build.

| Nice mech, Andrew! Ingenious name, by the way. I love the legs. They seem very sturdy, are they? The use of both new and old gray gives it a kind of 'been in a wreck but has been fixed' persona. | (...) you and i think alike. we both used the click hinges in our moc's. i used the alpha team hinges on almost everything except for the elbows. i almost used the new bley ones, but they would've clashed with the other bricks. they seem to fit well (...) | (...) Hey Todd, I like the overall chunkyness to this one. My favorite part though is the hands. They're simple and effective. I think I have hand envy. But seriously I think that Lego should put out a set like this one. I would buy it over the (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
