    Moon shuttle —Jean-Pascal Rignault
Here is a space shuttle that could be found at the Moonbase : (URL) Folder post moderation : (URL) here> This is my biggest space ship so far. I wanted it to have a bit of a retro feel, a la "Cosmos 1999". And talking about this TV show, I saw on (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

JP - nice shuttle! If Lincoln or Cadillac made a shuttle in the future, this would be it. It has the feel of a futuristic limo. Nice MOC! Could it be the Lincoln Galactic Navigator? ;-) Bill Pfund (20 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

         Re: Moon shuttle —Jean-Pascal Rignault
(...) Thanks Bill! Let's go for the Lincoln Galactic Navigator! It's been long time since I want to make a space limo. This one came close, but what I have in mind is more an over-limo, like the (URL) one> Bram Lambrecht did about one year ago. (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: Moon shuttle —Ken Koleda
(...) I love this MOC. Sort of simple compared to some, but HIGHLY effective. The stairs integrated into the hatch works well, the large twin engines.. very space 1999-ish, yet not. The compact gear petty nice too. Not sure that you'd need fins or (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Wow! Thanks Ken! Folding gear : always a + for me, he he! And the fins : yes, I agree with you, they are not very functionnal on the Moon, but I like the retro look they give to this shuttle. Cheers, JP. (20 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: Moon shuttle —Gil Shaw
(...) JP, I continue to really enjoy your stuff....it's just so much fun. Your use of parts that otherwise clutter up the bottom of the bins (in this case, the rubber band holders for gear) is a constant source of inspiration. As mentioned, the (...)         Re: Moon shuttle —Avery Christy
(...) Nice little shuttle. Simple, and straightforward. Gotta agree with the others, love the use of those rubber band holders as landing gear. I've always wondered if they could be used for anything, then I threw them away. -Avery (20 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Nooo...ooo!!!!!..... Did you really throw them away? Roooohhh...hhh...... Thanks Avery! JP. (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: Moon shuttle —Jean-Pascal Rignault
(...) Thanks Gil! I started this MOC by building the engines. Then I found this use for the rubber band holders, and it was matching the engine design! As for the passenger section, I had tried many times before to use the clear quarters. I think (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
