What? Megablocks?! Half of the time I can't even get the small handful of
Megablocks that I possess to hold together. I tried mixing them with Legos, and
the quality/exactness of size must have been off because some Megablocks were
loose and others broke some of my blocks.
Those are BTR's, my friend; yep, former G.I. Joe and Transformer building
blocks. I bought a small set as an experiment to see if they would work. They
did work, splendidly every one! As it just so happened, I recently found a 75%
off sale at Toys-R-Us on all BTR models. So, I was able to get a huge number of
perfectly compatable Lego-ish building blocks (around 500 pieces all together)
for about $20.
And these pieces are very cool. You will be seeing these pieces a lot more in my
MOCs.
I won't clean up the color scheme until the next Vendiin model, this shuttle was
a test run.
