Here is one more MOC for the Bot Contest - the M100 URT (Unmanned Robotic Tank)
Robot Mode:
Tank Mode:
Affectionately known as the “Green Giant” by field commanders and troops alike,
the URT is a first-strike weapon, meant to meet enemy front lines at the
beginning of an assault so that soldiers need not be in harms way initially.
The URT converts to robot mode to avoid traditional tank traps and tank
barracades, but is swiftest in tank mode. Weapons include minigun, heavy plasma
main barrel, and two anti-aircraft missiles.
The bot transforms fully from robot to tank and back without removing a single
piece. The hardest part was integrating the hands into the turret of the tank.
The legs can bend at the knees slighty, even with the treads. I suppose if the
URT was lumped into a faction, Jade Empire could fit with the color scheme.
