(...) Gil, you're a legend. Leave it 'til the last second and then boom! you hit us with this. Seems to me there's going to have to be a garbage handling category in the comp. That's gotta make three or four entries in the 'theme'. Nice work on (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Civilian MOC, just in under the deadline: John Deere Hover Tractor

You may be wondering why I haven't posted a MOC since January. Well, aside from having a kid, I've been working on a project for a while. And this is it. Okay, not really. This is a one night inspiration, a hover tractor. (URL) Cheers Adrian (URL) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Ministry Of Information Retrieval

(...) As usual, thanks for building and for posting! It's so detailed, so smooth, so well executed it almost doesn't look like Lego. I wish I could be the Iron Reich's mech subcontractor, but I doubt the State would be trusting enough to outsource (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Star Wars Concept MOC: Solar Sailer

(...) snip A MOC really makes an impression on me when it's from a genre I don't usually go for, but it wins me over anyway.   Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) snip (...) Gil, I would say the RPC has Palmer-esque visual appeal. The combination of the greebs, functional details and color scheme hits that sweet spot that the best builders on Lugnet are known for. Reminds me of some of Mladen's and (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) This is the coolest moc I've seen in a while, civilian or not. I wouldn't change a thing. It looks good from every angle, and has such great details like the central tanks, the dock for the hover-chair-tug thing, the bumpers, and the driver (...)   Re: 2 MOCs in one post (also) (what a day!)

(...) Thanks Gil! It's the second time I use these engines, and I also think I need to get some more! Cheers indeed, JP. (21 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Civilian MOC Contest Entry

(...) Sweet....good marks from the Prof! I'm so pleased to hear 'playability' being a reoccuring comment on this one. Lately I have been obsessed pouring over the old Space and Town catalogue models from the late 80's, early 90's. They are so much (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
