The braintrust will be rolling out a wide range of new productions in the
near future.(chalk it up to the end of the spring semmester). First up on
the block is the new CBT-200, its the big brother of the
CBT-100 This one is
designed for close air support. I wasnt sure which way to go, and started
making something like the aircraft from the Terminator, but was unhappy with
the results, and decided to pursue the insect idea instead. This hornet
inspired craft is armed with two small caliber guns, and one large minigun
stinger. Moderated for your pleasure:

Well, the insect idea was clearly the way to go. This is quite stunning,
Dan. I like the extreme range of motion youve achieved; it has many
different looks about it, including a couple of faces. The colour scheme
really works too. Those printed wedge slopes suit the design.
My one suggestion would be to lose the blurry pics, they dont do justice to
your work and they are mostly redundant. The other pics tell the story well.
Peace and insects,

Thanks Ley, I appreciate the praise. I too was really happy with the printed
wedges in this MOC, it looks alot better than it did with the plain ones. I have
to be honest, I am somewhat obsessed with wedges in general right now. This
thing is very posable, and for the most part, quite sturdy as well, so it should
make for some fun at brickfest. I considered putting small hand/claw things at
the ends of the front legs so it could pluck up minifigs, but in the end,
decided go for the simpler form (got lazy).
I have deleted some of the pics that were blurry. I have to say, in retrospect I
should have considered the difficulty I would experience trying to focus an SLR
given my poor eyesight, stupid autofocus not working through the macro lense!
