    Robriq Moobot —Jon Palmer
Toradoch Systems approached Robriq recently. They wanted to build a bot that could be sold to small-hold farmers and ranchers in the New Malpaso colony out in the frontier. The result is a seamless fusion of Toradoch and Robriq technology. Moobot: (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) As said before, that's sweet. Wow. This is awesome- a perfect, orginal combo of organicness and a machine. Can't wait to see more tech west stuff. Maybe you could rip off some ideas from that Rockfish movie... some techwest ideas there. -JHK (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: Robriq Moobot —Jon Palmer
     (...) Thanks JHK. Though it's basically a pickup truck-bed on legs, so I'm not sure how organic it is. ;) (URL) [ j o n ] (URL) zemi.net> (URL) moonbase> (URL) myspace> (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Jon, wow! This project is turning out better than I ever imagined it would. What's next on the to-do list? EB-Robriq? IR-Robriq? Rasta-Robriq? Can't wait! -Lenny (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Moobot —Jon Palmer
(...) Thankee sai. I have a short list of stuff coming up. One bot I wanna make is a much larger, industrial version of this (walking platform) for Trevor's Astro Lift subtheme.         Re: Robriq Moobot —Paul Baulch
(...) Nice. I like how it can crouch down for unloading. I would have given it a head (a cow-ey snouty one), but I'm not about to tell you how you should design a robriq :-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Moobot —Jon Palmer
(...) Thanks. I was glad the crouching and tailgate height worked out myself. I think more identifiable features like faces and stuff will probably never be a Robriq thing. Not sure why, I'm just goin' with it. (URL) [ j o n ] (URL) zemi.net> (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Robriq Moobot —Roy Whitford
Nice bot, though does it have any visual sensors? ...that can pick-up colors? ...such as red, for example? Sorry. Couldn't resist the obvious joke. Again. Roy W. (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Moobot —Jon Palmer
(...) I like to think it has sensors in that dome up front. I also like to think it has a crackly recorded "moo" sound that it makes occasionally. You know, so it's life-like.         Re: Robriq Moobot —Ley Ward
(...) Diggin' it! Do its 'feet' make a plopping sound as it ambles along? (I dunno, it just looks like it would amble.) The 'pickup bed' makes it very practical. I can see herds of these heading west with the settlers. I especially like the last (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
