(...) See, I'm torn here. Part of me really likes the design, and part of me doesn't. The robo-ox and stage coach all look nice, and serve their function, but they look kinda.. santa-claus to me. (...) Thanks Jeff. :) I'm aware of the show Firefly, but unfortunately have never had a chance to see it. Thanks for the tip, though. I have to thank Gil Shaw for the inspiration for this model. (...) There are key elements of an old western wagon that I worked to incoporate into the futuristic design. One is the circular shape of the wheels (represented here by the radar dishes). (...) Dude, this is a blast. You've nailed the theme perfectly, IMO. Bessie is right on the money and works well in a 2 to 4 stud thickness. I think one of my favorite bits is the half-circled arrangement of the brown backpacks on the tail (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
