(URL) Greetings! Here's my entry for Jon's contest: (URL) Enjoy! --Dan (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: March CoLUG Meeting: Castle vs Space...

March CoLUG Meeting: Castle vs Space...

...with predictable results. (URL) Spears and axes proved to be just slightly inferior to Holbars assault rifles and landmates. (URL) My gallery post mod> Sorry for the dearth of pics, and low quality of the few I got. I was pretty busy building. (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) I built it more as absurdist comedic piece, since there are clearly more things wrong about it than there are right. Cartoon physics applies, so the water doesn't boil away, exposed skin isn't desicated (though I did originally plan to have (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

Well, since the pool works in a vacuum, the water must be contantly boiling out into space, and with an astonishingly fast rate too. You've modelled this effect nicly with the studs on the trans dark blue plates :-) With friendly greetings, M. (...)   Brickshelf MOCs page

Hi folks! I only signed up to Lugnet couple months or so ago, but I finally got a digital camera and have posted pictures of my various MOCs on my brickshelf page: <www.brickshelf.com/...=Earthman> There's a variety of different ones, even ones made (...)   Neptune's Moon Lagoon

This is my first Moonbase module. It's also my biggest MOC since...well, probably ever (I had a reasonably large collection as a child, but most of it was bright colors that didn't fit with Space or Castle very well). I detailed most of the gags in (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: another poll

(...) I can't decide: (URL) If I pick one, the others might get jealous. Though, just between you and me, I am slightly partial to (URL) the white one at the upper left in the picture> for it's sheer futuristic complexity disguised as 'op-art' and (...)   Re: Small, Red and Fast.

(...) Hey JP. This was going to be a 'me-too' post because I really like this SRF of yours. But, I actually like the orange,(1) so it looks like I've wandered out of 'me-too' territory. In fact I'd like to see the orange grilles extend up the hood (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Small, Red and Fast.

(...) This is very nice, great use of curves. I think it has just the right level of greebliness, though I am a bit of a minimalist. I like the landing gear, I did something very similar for landing gear on something that I haven't photographed yet, (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Small, Red and Fast.

Sweet! I like the overall shape, and the landing gear are a big plus. I only wish we could see "under the hood." James Wilson Dallas, TX (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: old hoses from classic space sets...

(...) Hi Johnathan, You're definitly looking for pneumatic hoses, as said before. They come in a variety of lengths, you're meant to cut them to size. In space sets they were already the correct length, but I don't think you'll find them in the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: old hoses from classic space sets...

(...) I think you are looking for the hose flexible, 8.5L. It comes in a few variaties (tabbed ends or not) and the component parts are also available seperately. Check out the bricklink catalog for the category "hoses" and you should be able to (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: old hoses from classic space sets...

(...) Unfortunately, I've found these difficult to locate under their PartsRef name (Hose Classic 10L) but there are a small handful of possible matches on Bricklink. Search for 'Black Pneumatic Tubing 10L' to see the actual listings. There are no (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

old hoses from classic space sets...

Can anyone tell me where to get some? (perhaps point me at the briklink item that I should look for) Specificly, I want hoses for my 6881 Lunar Rocket Launcher (22 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Open Poll

(...) Easily a tie between the headlight brick and the halfpin. SNOT is entirely possible thanks to these two. I couldn't choose one over the other though because they do it in differing ways.
