A recent trip through southern Maryland took me past a Naval Research Station which had a magnificent wall of pipes and wires facing the Atlantic. This is the Ice Planet version.

Nice work Patrick. I like the White Widow best, probably because it is predominantly white which tones down the garish nature of the Ice Planet colour scheme (one I’ve never been fond of). The ice station antenna is very cool too. The station walls could probably do with some more white, not sure how (maybe a stripe or two?). I think generally these would just look better with more white than blue, just a colour scheme thing (YMMV).

Where do those white spindly leg parts come from?

Cheers,

They are windsurf board masts. They come in two different lengths. I picked up a bunch from bricklink cause I like to use them for guns and such. When they arrived I remembered Lego using them with a maxi-fig arm socket in http://guide.lugnet.com/set/6579

It works pretty good on a rough surface. But if you wiggle the table too much he tends to slump over.
