Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) Maybe I was being a bit extreme, but I do think some good MOCs in the past made by unknown people have gone largely ignored in favor of space guru's creation. However, this has changed in the last few months. I've seen some newbies make a (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) I don't think there's really all that much argueing in .space. I'm not sure about the new builder thing. I do believe that we can come off as elitist, though it's not intentional. One of the things that will need a lot of thought with a (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) I have to argue* against you on your point about new builders not being able to work their way into the community. I think the members here are incredibly welcoming. As soon as I started getting my stuff posted here (owe you some personal (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

(...) Thanks! Yeah, I tried to clump the color scheme- I don't use white much, but I thought this would be a perfect time to try a white/grey scheme. I also tried to get all the angles right too, I wanted this to work well. More excercise in snot... (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: LEGOFan.net - central community run hub for all areas of the LEGO community.

(...) Icky. What about when amatures come in and write code that is... laughable... at best. Then you have a website made of mangled, chaotic code that definetly does not help the community at all. Poor commenting, bad structure, inefficent (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Mirage

That's a really nice MOC Dan. The yellow missiles work surprisingly well with the tan/grey colour scheme. The landing gear is cool too, very discreet and practical. I especially like the cockpit area, you made excellent use of that JS canopy. Thanks (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) Yeeh, Chris has classic-space.com I know he's ready to start developing it. And I've offered my help. I think it is high time that we got a space site rollin! Classic-Space.com is the perfect place to do it. Maybe we'll hash out some major (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Argent Supra

Excellent work Paul! Fantastic form and detailing. The landing gear also strikes my fancy. Yes it's "fugly", but it looks extremely functional and robust. I might have to look into that type of design when I get around to building spacecraft again. (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Argent Supra

(...) Gobsmackingly gorgeous and packed chockablock full o' wonderful details - I especially like the technic panels and what's under them. Shame about the colur, but. ;) Allister (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mirage

(...) Masterful use of colour and different shapes. The Jack Stone canopy is a neat touch. I've had a few aborted attempts at using one myself, so I'm pleased that someone has finally realised it's potential. Cheers, Allister (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)
