Thanks! The big gapping hole is there because I have not put in much of
the walls on the front and rear of the forward cylinder. Same goes for the
front of the rear cylinder. I'm still designing an airlock for one of the
rear walls on the forward cylinder and also one for the rear cylinder's
front wall. I also keep getting builder's block because I can't decide what
else should go on these walls. Like what sort of functions or look they
should have.
You'll also find 3 other similar holes where the main docking ring, the
ground vehicle bay, and the engineering section will be.
And thanks for the complement on the color scheme. I really don't have a
billion pieces and it has been a real task to get the outside colors down to
primarily grey, black and blue(with patches of brown, dark grey and some tan
where the ship has been repaired or parts of the inside hull layers are
exposed. If you can see the insides of some of the bulkheads in some of the
pictures (like the areas where the docking ring section will go) you'll see
I did a lot of red and blue (or similar) zig zagging to conserve as many
pieces as I could.
