As a result of the leak of information to the “reprehensible, war-monger communist organization” Eastern Block, the eccentric corporation CerebrumInc acted quickly in drastically reducing its workforce “in the interest of security” and uprooting its operations to an undisclosed system. After a year’s silence, CerebrumInc made its debut entry in the prestigious “Red Rally” race across the Mars landscape. CerebrumInc’s entry was successful—the first winning introductory entry in the history of the race. The corporation promised future entries. Many criticized the corporation for using it as a publicity stunt to smooth over rumors concerning the methods employed in reducing their workforce. Further complaints and accusations were made concerning the corporation’s alleged use of alien technology. CerebrumInc declined requests to inspect their facilities or designs, again, “in the interest of security.” In a fit of politics, the xenophobic IPRC (InterPlanetary Racing circuit) rescinded the winning award and suspended CerebrumInc from future entries “until further notice.”

This week CerebrumInc unveiled its next in the series of prototype fighters, the F-3 Wasp. The F-3 Wasp improves upon much of the technology used in the F-2 Bat. The new fighter features a smaller, yet more powerful core, a removable engine/core mount that can be easily be handled in gravity by two persons and in 0 gravity by one, both atmospheric and exospheric flight, and a more comfortable and integrated cockpit. No details concerning the F-3 Wasp’s payload were disclosed. In an attempt to discover the location the corporation’s facilities, analysts and competitors alike have pored over the press release to identify the alien tech that is obviously integrated into the new fighter. Nothing has been concluded.

Along with the press release for the F-3 Wasp came an uncharacteristic and militant threat of offense from the corporation to the Eastern Block if any more “brazen attempts at stealing our developed technology occurred.” This threat is cause for concern because of the corporation’s secrecy, seemingly unlimited resource, and now apparent ties with a potentially dangerous alien race.

Excellent stuff Phil....very retro both in design and colour. Most amazingly is the amount of SNOT construction...side, backwards, down....almost expect the fig to be standing on his head.

Now if only landed on a rack, then that would be something.

;)

Cheers, -Gil
