Hi

This is a MOC I finished some time ago, I just never got around to taking
photos.  I set out to make a rocket similar to those in old comic books or • scifi
stories -- ones that fly horizontal and land vertically on the tail.  I • had a
slightly bigger craft in mind, but, alas, the restrictions of having a
small(er-ish) collection!

hey you tried it and i think you nailed it... killer work.  I love how it
looks like a rocket on the outside, and the space shuttle on the inside.
the different little quarters look pretty awsome.  the black grooved tile
walkway thingy looks great and i love how it can double as anti skid surface
when the rocket is horizontally oriented, but look perfect as a ladder when
its vertical...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.  Some of the pictures didn't turn out *quite*
right, and I have a few more to edit so you can see it in its "natural" • setting
-- space.

I do wish your photos were a little better... or like 800x600.  However I
like the narrative of the photos... this one is great.

It reminds me of planet of the apes... except that they managed to land vs.
crash in a lake.  I would love to see a squad of chubakas riding horses out
of the bushes to capture them.

(...) I know -- I'm terrible at getting good pictures, but I'm uploading all the originals to brickshelf. Here's the sub-folder: (URL) you can glean more detail from these. Enjoy! Andrew (21 years ago, 5-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)
