They had a few kinds of trans-yellow bricks in the Pick-a-brick assortment at
Legoland California. I know I got a bunch of trans-yellow 1x2s there this
summer, so they should be available pretty reasonably on bricklink now. My hope
is that as the alleged Lego brand stores start opening across the country, we'll
see pick-a-brick at these (hopefully by weight, and not volume), and an
increasing selection of bricks. Good luck to all who are searching.
