This is a good start for a large fighter/bomber craft. I really like your creative use of canopies, and how they add to the curvature of the craft as a whole.

Thanks for the compliment! I hadn’t really thought about any specific role for the ship, though fighter/bomber seems quite fitting indeed. Any suggestions on what kind of arsenal might make it a better bomber? I’ve never quite figured out how bombers work in space. Torpedoes I suppose, right? I think I shall also add at least two turrets to it.

the best thing i could recommend would be to work the rest of the craft to better utilize that curvature. you’ve got some harsh edges that make the ship look blocky where it wants to look sleek. I’d recommend perhaps making it a bit smaller so the craft’s body can more conform to the curve of the canopies.

Indeed. I have some 6*6 plates without corners on the back of the main section to blend it, but the front I was at a loss for. I’m gonna keep it big though, as I want something with presence. Any suggestions for sloping the front back between the forward cockpit and the side blisters?

the engine area look pretty cool to. recommendation here is to beef out this section more, perhaps with some greebles (details).

Ok. Again, not quite sure how, as the only big ship I’ve made before this was this one (which was actually much bigger):

That one though, was basically a rehash of the RBR. Hmmm...time to start experimenting with hoses... :^)

black is a difficult color to work with and show off because so much is lost by way of details. you might also want to think about adding a noticable secondary color (something brighter than brown), like my personal favorite, RED.

Hmm...I’ll have to check my now sizeable inventory of colors.

i’d love to see the model re-worked a bit - it is a just a few steps away from being a really great craft.

Thanks again. I’m glad to finally some feedback, I knew there was something missing, but wasn’t sure what.

p.s. On a side note, how does the highlighting option work (that little bar at the bottom of posts)? I still haven’t figured it out exactly, so I never bother with it.
