The thing you need to understand is that this is the norm on slashdot.
There are always a flood of either mean or confused posts, and then a few
shining posts mixed in. I think it's a good balance in the long run..much
like real life IMO. If you check out the thread about "too much time" you'll
see that other people respond in my defense.
But honestly, I *wish* I had too much time :-)
And also, Metafilter typically has much more insightful conversations in its
threads. 2 cents.
