I think this is a great idea, and would certainly enhance usability. Ideally,
this'd be done automatically. Todd would be the one to impliment such a script.
Let's think up additional possibilities.
For instance, it'd be cool if there were a site-wide index of threads. ..each
thread could contain keywords with associated percentages, for optimal searching
or catagorizing. ..maybe the keywords could be entered by a curator, or by users
when they highlight/spotlight the article.
I can imagine the wealth of past-posted information and good thorough
discussions floating to the surface for a whole new resource, of sorts.
Sometimes things that sound outrageous or difficult to implement really aren't,
and vis versa. So, please, imagine and describe what seems natural to see or do
- without worrying about how it'd get done.

Oh, BTW, For people viewing LUGNET through the web interface, how do you like
the right-column display of recently active threads? I made that up as a way to
"see" or "overhear" simultaneous conversation. But the information is only
temporary, I know. ...I'm just curious if anyone's using it.
