Well, if your space cruiser is zero gee, then you may want a suction option.
Try a Hydronaut hose section with the green suction gun hooked at one end and
the other end connected to the wall of a private closet. Hand washing can be
done with a sonic unit (window with glass/shutters removed) by placing hands
inside the unit. It may make all but the hardiest space marines queasy,
however:)
