Concerning Ranks

Greetings!
Just an observation from an ‘uncommissioned’ relative newcomer concerning the
chat of late on ranks, promotions etc.
We all know that these boards are a fun and enjoyable place for all of us to
hang out, swap ideas, be creative and at times, be silly. After all, we’re all
involved in a hobby that revolves around a toy.
Also, ongoing jokes and humourous strings keep .space an inventive and lively
place that we all can enjoy.
The ‘rankings’ fall into these categories and are fun little diversions and
forays into role playing that I don’t think anyone can disagree or find
exception with.
Like anything however, undue importance heaped on a small part of the community
can cause others to become irritated and either withdraw from posting or even
worse, from reading the boards at all.
My take? By all means....promote one another, promote yourself - it’s all in
fun....just don’t worry about it too much and show us what wonders sit atop your
building tables!
