Here's an interesting tale.
Shortly after posting this K-Mart dropped the price of this set to AU$28. 'Sold'
I thought, and went to pick one up only to find stocks had vanished. 'Bummer' I
thought, and let it go.
Fast forward to last Saturday, I was in K-Mart browsing the Lego shelves and
spotted one sitting there all by itself, with no indication of price anywhere. I
tracked down a price scanner, and was so stunned to see the price appear at $4
that I rescanned it a few times.
The checkout chick took my four dollars withoug batting an eyelid.
Sometimes patience is rewarded.
