Duh.  The mini-Moonbase, of course.

I was stuck away from home for a while, but luckily I had one of each of the
mini-SW sets to keep me company.  After piling all of the pieces on a table,
some Moonbase modules starting jumping out at me.  I built eight total
modules, with a few pieces left over (I could have just stuck the remaining
pieces onto various open spaces in order to use all of the pieces, but
aesthetically I just couldn't make myself do it).  Once I got home, I took
these pictures and uploaded them.

All eight modules:

Finally, the leftovers:

These were incredibly fun to build, from deciding what should serve as
module connectors, to color schemes, to compromises that had to be made
along the way...Thanks for looking--any and all comments and criticism welcome.

Derek

Nice miniature layout. Couldn't help but wonder what it would look like down
in a lunar valley with a space mini-fig in the foreground. Could be an
awesome backdrop.

Did you ever get around to posting your B-25 Mitchell?

I borrowed your wing rotation technique from that aircraft for a sci-fi
aircraft. Rotating a 9 stud wide wing 5 studs to create forward swept wings.
