    New MOC: Pisces —Chris Maddison
I'm really getting into this pod thing. :-) This is my newest pod, the Pisces: (URL) one stems from my desire to use the Bionicle feet in this configuration - makes a primo engine. The problem lied in that it's hard to get the radar dishes 2-wide (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) I find it interesting that you can cram a hyperdrive into a vehicle that small, yet it is equipped with antique machine guns. How cute. :^) ~GAMH (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

Machine guns, not what I would have picked but nonetheless an interesting addition to the Pisces. I also like your use of the Bionicle feet it does indeed make a "primo" engine. \\//,DedmanWalkin (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

Thanks Erik. Yeah, machine guns might not have been the best fitting, but I just loved the way those log bricks looked on the pod, and that was the obvious choice. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Jon. The use of the feet stems from your M-Wing. When I saw the engine configuration on it, I started trying to look at certain pieces differently, in different configuration. -Chris (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) It doesn't help that you're so dang nice. Give us slwer folks a chance to catch up, will ya? ;-) Serisouly, I do like this one, though I think the Desert Rat takes the cake for having both 1) landing gear and 2) luggage space.      (...) Heh. I just gotta get my ideas out before they fade away into nothing. And it seems like lately the idea-making part of my brain is working overtime. :-) (...) Oh, I totally agree. Of the three pods I've done, this one is my least favorite. (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Gil. The Bionicle sets do have some awesome parts in them, altho it's not immediately noticeable. More for mecha builders, but great for ships and the like too. -Chris (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)
