I was talking to Karim Nassar today and he shared some good ideas for making
decals. (All of which I've ignored temporarily until I can get some
materials ;-)
I decided to go ahead and try making some quick ones. Heres how:
I got the image of the Jolly Roger flag out of ldraw--inverted the colors in
Photoshop--Made the background a little more grey--resized it to 1.5 cm x
1.5 cm--printed them on normal paper with my aging bubblejet printer--cut
'em out--glued them on some old grey tiles with a tiny bit of elmers clear
school glue. :-)
They look pretty good in normal light IMO.
