A few notes on the design of the Shocktrooper: I took a largely Technic
system-based approach to this MOC- about 80% of the elements in it are of a
pure Technic or semi-Technic nature. I'm very satisfied with the overall
look of the model. I think the quarter-ellipse liftarms and Bohrok torso
elements add an alien/deconstructionist feel to robot. In fact, I'm
seriously considering redesigning the rest of the Vedraan droid host units
via similar techniques.
    BTW, the "Axle Joiner Perpendicular Double Split" elements from the
Technic Darth Vader set were very useful for connecting the socket joints to
the torso, forearms, and calves.
