Tired of plodding around the system in overpowered, clanging ion driven
ships?  Deutronium slush drives not giving you the thrill they used to?
Screaming at your automaton co-pilot over the din of SRB's?

At Toradoch Systems, we have the solution for your space jangled
nerves.....the Sol flare clipper.  Simply glide into the pod of one of our
newest line in NOF (No On-board Fuel) intersystem ships and relive some of
the glory days of lighter-than-air travel.

Relax in the completely shielded rudderpod as the Sol traverses the gamma
current from any local star, or radiant gas giant.  Manually adjust the
emitter flow collected in the nose mounted RadScoop, silently creating the
thrust through any of the four directional vanes for smooth and noiseless
gliding in the tranquility of interplanetary space.

Moored in space at a refueling/docking pod (sold seperately), use the Sol
for station to station hopping, phenomena gazing or just to experience the
peace of the void.

Contact Toradoch Systems for more information.

Toradoch - bringing the stars to you.

(...) WOW! I wish I had the talent and the bricks and the camera to make this! I like the 'ring' alot, as well as the half-cilendar cocpit. Wouldn't the pilot want to see, though? In theory, the ship wouldn't go intersteller, though- probablly not (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

Apologies for responding to my own post, but I just wanted to give a tip of the hat to Jon Palmer and his O-wing Fighter design for the inspiration of this model. Yet another benevolent felony on my part...... Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

[snip] (...) That is one awesome looking unorthodox design. It must have been fun balancing it. -Mike Petrucelli (22 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

Hey Gil. I've been here and there for a bit but I figure its not too late to reply on this. Interesting ship. While I don't like this as much as some of your other recent creations, it's still a very cool ship. The over all shape is very unique. (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)
