Could somebody show pictures of how you use 1/4 domes to make spaceship

Hi John, here are some links:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=18218
(Pat's was one of the first to use the technique in a MOC)

(Mark's Lightning Jack is very nice)

(two of my own)

The trick is to use slopes to add a frame on the side.  Then using 45 degree
slopes to make a place for it to rest.   It's fun to goof around with until
you get it to fit.  Do check out the instructions for the Mega Core Magnetizer:

Hope this helps!
