Anyone for a little more turbocycle action?  I built three more, the
Firebrand, Thanatos, and Blizzard.  They can all be found on the ground
section of my web page.

Someones been building!  My favorite, perhaps predictably, is the Firebrand.
Great shape all over.  I like the flag piece near the rear.

When I get inpsired and have a little free time, watch out!  *heh*   The
flag's some sort of spoiler, I think.  Or maybe a mudguard.  Most of the
time with details like that I have no idea what they actually do :)

I'm not that crazy about the Thanatos but I admire all the teal you were
able to use.  My favorite part of this is definitely the Bionicle mask.  It
adds a nice comic book menace to the bike. I imagine seeing the bike bearing
down on you with its headlight eyes glowing.  I must say I don't really like
plastic wheels on these bikes though.  I just like the feel of the rubber.

The plastic wheels do take some getting used to, yeah.  Just imagine that
they're some futuristic supersticky crystalline compound or something.  I
wanted to use them because they're different, and it's often tough to find
uses for pieces from the Throwbots, roboriders, and bionicles that aren't in
and of themselves mecha or some type.

As for the color scheme, I wanted to use as much teal as I could.  Perhaps I
went a little overboard with it.  I guess not every bike can be pretty in
the Turbocycle League :)

Last, I really like the Blizzard.  I think you've pulled off a pretty
ambitious color scheme with this one.  (This is coming from someone who
doesn't like white very much.)  The sand red goes well with the white and
great with the light blue windscreen.

Thanks.  Of the three new ones, I think I'm most pleased with the overall
shape and color of the Blizzard.

Cool.

While I'm at it I also wanna say I like how you provide story AND building
notes for the many of the models on your page.  I think this is a *great*
feature. I really get tired of some pages that have pages of story but don't
provide any insights into the building process.  When my page was up I went
all over the board between story and building notes.  Some models had a
story, while others just had building info. I admire the distinction between
the two that you use for many of the models on your page .

When I put my page up again I'm going ot have to use a similar format.

Keep it up.

I really have no idea where the genesis for that concept came from.  I think
for my oldest creations I only put down building notes, but as my building
style evolved, I started including storylines as well, to make the web page
experience more entertaining.  I think a lot of that has actually been
affected by the Castle World concept, where the storyline is as important,
if not moreso, than the creations.  It gives the web page viewer a little
more to do when they're there, if you include both features.

Thanks for the compliments, and I look forward to seeing some more bikes
from you to challenge me :)
