Well, it's a little more unorthadox, but how about an orbital platform shipyard instead of a land based one? It sounds like it might work well with the platforms you said would be jutting out from it. Sort of like those space docs they have in Star (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

Thanks for replying man. Actually, it's supposed to be an orbital platform.. I once wanted to build a large enclosed construction yard, but that's much too daunting a task for me... (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Have you tried the possibility of ZNAP? I've found that they make pretty good beams, and technically, it is Lego... I've got a project I'm working on right now that uses ZNAP.... If you can find ZNAP, your chances are pretty good at finding it (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)
