Recently, a Semi-NLF friend and my wife and I sat down to build from 10
boxes of unsorted bricks that I'd acquired over the last year or so and just
never did anything with. I have yet to post all of the pictures, but the
Talon is my product of that evening of building.

Made from parts of a 6979, 2 sets of 6580, a 2152, a 7131, bits from 2 sets
of 6575 and various other parts that were tossed in a couple 'catch all'
boxes that I had sitting around. It started with trying to make the cockpit
from both of the canopies. I didn't want to mount one or both
'conventionally', so I had to play around with some way to 'seal' the gap
between the two when mounted as they are. I must say that for limiting
myself to what I found in the boxes I got out, the design turned out rather
well. Looking at it reminded me of an eagle or hawk coming in for the kill,
wings and talons outstretched.. hence the name. Okay.. enough cheesy stuff. :)
It comes equipped with two ion cannons and a gattling laser under the belly
and I picture it having heavy shielding, making it a tough customer all the
way around.
Comments welcome, though I realize it's less than 'perfect' :) some day I
may revisit this design and create it 'right' but for now, I'm leaving it as is.

| Hi there Joel, I think the Talon has some real potential. At current, it seems a bit flimsy, but I'm sure that with a little more refinement, it could look quite striking indeed.
