that isn't to say nobody's done it.  It's still a great idea and I
like where you are going with it.  I bet if you used Technic parts to
open them instead of hinges, it would be possible to make them all
open at once, and motorized even...

Sounds like a challenge to me. With the current designs I just wanted to see
how they would go together. I guess the next progect is to try to make them
work better, and take up less space.
