hi,
there are some pics of a relatively new version of the port I am using,
based on a lot of the better ideas that have been tossed around the last few
times this subject came up:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=5774
my newest ship The SET has a few of these, and they are only changed
cosmetically from this design to match the ship and use a few less parts.
the main reason for using the 6 x 5 pin block has been gone over already, my
design just adds the element of universal compatability in reguards to
female and male pin ports.
cheers!

| Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post, but I was wondering if anybody has made a workable, minifig scale airlock/docking ring that is 7 or less bricks high? I'm looking for ideas i might be able to use on a new ship I'm building. Thanks, Marcus (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)
