And steering wheels?  Although now that I build out of standard minifig
scale they're usually too small for that.

   Today I bought my first "Jack Stone" set (the little cop car),
   and God help me, I actually like some of the parts (gotta brasso
   the logos off the side fairings, though)!  The reason I bring
   it up is that one of the parts I do like is the Jack Stone
   ("Creator-fig") sized steering wheel.  Have you thought to use
   one of these in your cars, given that it fits on a standard
   mini-peg?
