I'm not sure how much it weighs. Hmm.. might have to go and weigh the thing
now. Is it sturdy! Why, sure it's sturdy! This is actually the third
incarnation. When I built this one I built the base/bottom in a very similar
manner that the Galaxy Explorer, et al were designed. Lot's -o- grey plates!
The weakest part is the nose section forward of the cockpit and immediately
behind the upper cargo bay doors. I removed a large cross beam section here
to allow for the Mobile Lab to be able to easily fit in.
