  Re: On to other news....

(...) All I was asking was some simple questions and you and a few others act as though you are the Lego gods and that you have a right to "bait" me. Am I a fish? Do I breathe through gills? Do I live in a fishbowl? Do I bait you because I believe (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) I hope you don't have a problem with <set:6257 barrel-fishing>, Lindsay. I just think it's bad form to actually _tell_ the fish you are trying to hit it, and even worse to specify the weapon you're using. <sarcasm>That's why inserting (...) (...) I believe there is also an Episode I: The Phantom Menace (recently released), and there may also be sequels to Episode I, called Episode II and Episode III, forming a prequel trilogy.   Re: On to other news....

(...) So by using your logic, we can determine that France and Russia are actually the same country because they both have red, blue and white bars on their flags. The logo doesn't matter. It is what name the sets were released under that does. (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

  I-Beam ship

Scene: February, 2001. A hotel room in the suburbs of Chicago. Spread out on the bed: the parts from two copies of set 7180, the Star Wars B-Wing Fighter at Rebel Control Center. With nothing to do in a strange town, an odd thought crosses our (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hmmm, this is pretty interesting (in an aero-geek way). I can't remember Avogadro's number so I won't work out the numbers, either. I suspect this would become a whole different branch of "fluid" dynamics compared to what we deal with today. (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.au)

A) saying something based on assumption, and B) venturing out of atmospherics ;] In retrospect though, JAL seemed to imply that these things were going to be installed on the Shuttle or something in 2003 and I said "no way". (...) Bu-bu-but, Greg, if you toss a grenade into the barrel, can you still eat the fish? I prefer to use a high-powered rifle my own self, or sometimes a blunt wooden stick. Wham! Wham! What fun.   Re: Wings [was: Re: Building big]

Hi. I can't remember the density of space off the top of my head, but let's say it's somewhere near the 1 molecule per 3m^3 like you suggest. If a vehicle is travelling near the speed of light (3*10^8 m/s), then the ship is hitting in the vicinity (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.au)

(...) The first issue in this reply is no person can become richer than God because God gave people the concept of money and currency in their minds.
