Re: Galactica Rag Tag Fleet: 3 new transport ships!

Hello Phillip, thanks for your comment! I will publish more SW models soon, but I thought it would be good to be present in some other SciFi themes I like as well. So I concentrated in bringing up my new site (URL) and quickly get some more content (...) (18 years ago, 28-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Galactica Rag Tag Fleet: 3 new transport ships!

Hello Dave, thank you for the feedback which is highly appreciated. So, those 3x3 discs come from the SantaFe trainset? I already wondered where they were from. Thanks, – Christopher (18 years ago, 28-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks to everyone who commented, I appreciate it! (...) You found my secret, yep. (...) OK, by popular demand, and because I needed a reason to reinstall LDraw, I've done my best to whip up an LDR file and render instructions with LPub. Not (...)   Re: Galactica Rag Tag Fleet: 3 new transport ships!

Impressive as ever, Chris. Which I say as a builder of micro-starships myself. (I even displayed a few at this year's BrickFest, though they vanished next to Nathan Proudlove's meter-long Blacktron II.) Run out of Star Wars Expanded Universe designs (...)   Re: HAL 9000

Cool. A nice, iconic alternative to the conventional minifig-scale constructs that dominate Space. Let's see -- the eye-lens would be the (URL) 45729 Round dish 6x6 inverted>, in trans-light-blue from the 10030-1 USD Star Destroyer, right? And it (...) (...) Absolutely gorgeous stuff, Christopher! Very inventive use of parts, especially the Technic 3-bladed helicopter rotor on the Mover and the Santa Fe engine exhuast discs on the Livery Ship. Very deserving of the spotlight! Dave S. (18 years ago, 25-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Aaaah, the sterling beauty of simplicity! I, too, would dearly LOVE instructions so that I can build my own and have it watch me while I build! Dave S. (18 years ago, 25-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: HAL 9000

Cool Man! 2010 is one of my fav movies ever. It is one of those movies that I will watch even if it has already started, always! 2001 likewise. I really like that 6x6 clear dish! Thanks for the inside shots, I spotted this on Brickshelf a little (...) (18 years ago, 25-Apr-07, to lugnet.space)

Galactica Rag Tag Fleet: 3 new transport ships!

Hello my dear fellows! Today I'd like to show you three transport ships of the so-called "Rag Tag Fleet", the collection of civilian ships which follows and is protected by the Battlestar Galactica.   monorail maintenance?

I'm coming into the monorail world late and have been acquiring track and parts on Bricklink. I have two motors and both seem to run very slowly. They really seem to labor going up-hill.   Re: The Blacktron II

Looks real nice! I'm glad to see a large scale BII creation. The concept of local superiority in terms of ship strength is also really well done. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Battlestar Galactica 2003 TV Series

Hello dear fellows! Some of you may have noticed that I built some Galactica stuff recently. All from the classic series, as I like that one better. However, one cannot deny the popularity of the new TV series which started in 2003. Hence, I decided (...)
