  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) Fair enough. I just find Mocpages interface rather clumsy for looking at MOCs. (...) I think it kicks ass. I think we need more moonbase modules with interesting shapes, good color schemes, and great detailing. I like the cutouts in the (...) (19 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.space)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Ross is correct. I wouldn't have come to that design quite so easily if you hadn't included the jumper plate at the bottom, Tim. This sort of collaborative building is what I really like about this community; I can't wait to see where others (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Yep, very neat door. Tim, looks like jumper plates to me. ROSCO (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Very nifty work Ley. I like the tiles and using lots of hinge bases rather than just one. What is the plate you're using upside down at the top of the door to hold it in? Must have a hollow stud but I can't work it out, Tim (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Thanks Tim, that is such a cool idea, I had to build it and tweak it a bit. Untweaked with Brickshelf link: (URL) Tweaked with MOCpages link: (URL) Finished with Flickr link: (URL) You can see some notes on MOCpages and some of the (...)   LEGOPalooza Display at Morehead Planetarium, Chapel Hill, NC April 1

NCLUG had its second LEGO event at Morehead Planetarium at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, April 1. Bushes not used as bushes? I love it! Btw, I really like your use of the old Samsonite gears on (URL) this quasi-steampunk vehicle>. (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Gsnot is cool! I was not aware of this particular Snot (it should have been Xpost to schleim before). Dsnot, Gsnot...are you planning an alphabet SNOT project similar to the SW ships alphabet project ? ;-) (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Oscar the serpent

(...) Hi Joseph! I'm glad you like it (and the plant). It's not really that mysterious all of the coral bits are hollow (a technic axle can pass trough them). I took a piece of lego string and put it through through the holes, making sure that it is (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Oscar the serpent

(...) Hi Linus =) This is a neat creature for sure. Not totally sure how you got it to bend at the segments like that, and that's a good thing if it's mysterious hehe. I was admiring your carnivourous plant last week and discussing it with someone (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Oscar the serpent

Hiya. The name is Linus Bohman, and this is my first post on lugnet. I've been lurking for three years or so. Last night I discovered that I was finally allowed to post here, and so I thought I would give it a try. Here is Oscar the serpent. He is (...)   Boeing 737-400 Minifig Scale

(...) Thanks Nathan, Sorry guys, I wanted to introduce the plane to everybody earlier, but up until now I didn’t have posting rights yet.   Red Sun Cruiser Mini-Model

I actually built this model a few weeks ago, as with the other MOCs that I'm going to post after this, but I've just *finally* gotten posting confirmation after two weeks of waiting... Enough with the rant! :-) The Red Sun is a mini-model with no (...) (19 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) Her Keith another execellent MOC here, the A-frame design is wicked cool and who needs interiors anyway! Bah! Hope you do bring this to fest! Good use of the trans-green but trans-green has always seemed a little too space-hippish to me. (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) And here I thought the name electric boogaloo was a clue. Clearly there is a decimal missing from the signage; it's really 33.33. Yes it's the lunar repository of vinyl lps. Where else to stock a massive supply of all the song viruses which (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) I'm sold, Coop. I'm in the process of assembling the appropriate cast of minifigs, including L. Ron Hubbard, Travolta (white suit) and Cruise (tighty-whities). I just have to figure out what a "clay table" looks like without actually going (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase2: Electric Boogaloo

(...) Because Mocpages has a review function, Bram, and my own website sadly does not. Newbrickorder was, like Pepsi Clear, an interesting experiment, but ultimately a failure I think. I really only use it as a backup in case Brickshelf/Mocpages (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 in 2006

I really like the ice tank. Is that regular blue, or is it a different shade? It looks like light blue and I really like the color combo if it is. Nice builds, keep up the good work! (19 years ago, 30-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)
