(...) I've just tested my MTV on the track: The rubber band is slipping too much! :( So it won't work on the track, just on normal flat surface ;) (19 years ago, 30-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  A Piece To Cry Over

(URL) thought maybe I could clean it up, but you can see the writing on the walls: (URL) guess this kid was a big fan of a certain governor's movies. Would that there was a way to buff this out! Makes for a good conversation piece though. Dave S. (19 years ago, 30-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Exquisite! Off-colour is my favourite colour. Grey is pretty cool, too. Isn't the Electric Banana the club in Greenwich Village where Marty DiBergi first saw Spinal Tap? -Teddy (19 years ago, 30-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbus!

(...) I saw it yesterday and build it asap ;) Great 4WD vehicle! I've only replaced the two "3647 - Technic Gear 8 Tooth" with "4265c - Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth" and used the white rubber band. That makes less noise, let the bus drives more smoothly (...) (19 years ago, 29-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Green Classic Spacemen...

(...) "Flame" may be the appropriate word here. If I'm reading it correctly, it's a joke about two benighted souls who unknowingly enter a gay bar in search of color. Green, in this case. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be funny or just a play on (...) (19 years ago, 28-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Green Classic Spacemen...

I honestly don't quite get it. And to my understanding, neither BlacktronII or the Lego color green were even around in 1977 (though I may be wrong on that last one.). Now then, I'll just don my flame retardant suit and sit over here... -Stefan- (19 years ago, 28-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)

  Green Classic Spacemen...

Presenting a rather amusing comic strip by my good friend, Steven Locke: (URL) must warn you, it's a bit racey and may not be suitable for younger readers. Hope you enjoy it. I certainly did. Feedback welcome. Pete (19 years ago, 28-Sep-05, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.space) !!

I'll have to build this for myself very soon (if for no other reason than to see how well the chain works over two 8t gears). (...) I think automated lunar (...) A neat MOC, somehting about it gives off the 'natural but slightly differentness'I associate with good space MOCs. Very good work. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Yeah that would be great. I built it to only fulfill a couple of goals: be small and go. But I could easily see some modifications like that. Thanks for the input! (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbus!

Neat-o! I was checking this out last night on Brickshelf. (heading over to Zemi.net) I was thinking, if there was a nifty compact way to add a polarity reversor x2, (with spring or rubber band) so when the bus hit a dead end, it could automatically (...) (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)
