  Re: Mecha "For Girls"

(...) Exceedingly cute, and manages to still look like a battle machine despite being colored in pastels. I'm sure whoever thought up the Paradisa line would be proud. :P It's too bad there are no pink visors--the one thing that really bugs me about (...)   Re: lego.kepplah.com down?

(...) That's ok, in retrospect it wasn't really that funny anyway. (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Armstrong Stellardynamics I12 Wasp (moc)

this is sleek. and i really like your story line developement too. However, I think that the theme is too off the shelf. I think that it might be the overwhelming nature of those yellow parts that are so recognizable or something. I'd love to see a (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space)

  Re: Commodore MOC

hey thanks. I was really proud of how the front end came together to imitate an older automobile fender. Seems everyone agrees with the color problem. Next MOC is in all grey and white to fit this pcs theme everyone seems so enamored with. Although (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Maybe it was an alien hatchery before it was converted to a nightclub. Research Lab is awfully nebulous sounding. I hope all the chemicals were cleaned out of the drinking water ;) Thanks Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Thanks for the kind words Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Thanks for the kind words. Black, green, and bubbly do seem to provide an alien feel to them, don't they? Adrian -- (URL)-JHK (...) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Sure, not every Moonbase module ought to be orthoganal, right? Into every life a little crookedness must fall :) Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) I was actually listening to Paul Oakenfold, Juno Reactor, and Astral Projection a lot while I was building it. I was feeling the Trance/Rave beat :) Glad you like Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Armstrong Stellardynamics I12 Wasp (moc)

(...) That's a nifty little design, and definitely wasp-like. Well done! Jeff J (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space)

Re: My son's MOC: Duplo Spaceship!

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Awesome. It looks like an alien hatchery on the outside, but it's a sweaty bar on the inside. It's the exact opposite of the nightclubs around here - they look like sweaty bars on the outside but the occupants look like products of an alien (...) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Pre-classic Space

  Re: Commodore MOC

(...) I like how you sculpted the front. Great use of some new parts! There are too many colours for my taste - blue, dark blue, trans-blue, grey, black, bits or red, and the classic space logo on top... But then, that's just the paint job, right? (...) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: "Duvernay" Mk2

(...) It has a nice overall shape. Good use of hinges in achieving it. The only criticism I can think of (and it's a stretch) is the stark contrast between the rough/greebled top and smooth sides. Jeff J (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
