[--] "...Are you suggesting I purchase ROBOLABT 2.9 upgrade from my RoboLab
2.5.4B?
Tom, but you must be aware of the risk of using an obsolete product.
Honestly though, 2.9.4 is SO solid for most of the rather sophisticated
algorithms already for high schoolers.  I myself will not stop using it. I

[--] Doing this would allow me to program the NXT? What are the other
benefits?
Yes. Known benefits? Basically most of the benefits NXT's features are
supported. Not sure how well the Bluetooth is supported in Robolab2.9.4, as
I have not tested it w/ 2.9.4, but with RobotC and NXC.  Not sure what you
mean by "other benefits".  Do you mean the benefits of moving to NXT, or
interfacing NXT with Labview instead of Robolab2.9.4, or ??

[--]Eventually I hope to move to the NXT, programing it with LabView... My
reference work will be to use known masterpieces to see ifthere is something
in common.I really need to see VisionCenter examples. May you suggest a
site?
Tom, I am also interested in finding out interfacing the RCX Cam with NXT
sometime in Spring/2008. As far as finding out interfacing the Vision Cam
with RCX with Robolab, go on www.legoengineering.com to see if you have luck
there. I tried to use the RCX Cam with the RCX about 4 years ago. My
goodness, I must say it was painfully tedious. Besides, you probably could
only rely on the outline of a shape, e.g. a soccerball. Using it the scale
of the circle to determine whether you see the ball and distance to the
ball.  Now, this works as long as there is no other object also shapes like
a circle.

Good luck to you. Let us know progress of your project. Interesting.
