Tom Lohre’s Quarterly Art Show at Med+
Opening July 14th, 2007 from 6:30 to 9 PM, light refreshments served. In the
lobby of Med+ Urgent Care, 9549 Montgomery Rd. Suite 100, Cincinnati, OH 45242,
513-489-3737, just north of Montgomery Inn on the left. Open M-F 8 to 8, Sat &
Sun 10 to 6. Make an appointment and Tom will meet you there. Show continues
until September 2007.
In 1987 Tom first started exploring the possibility of having a machine paint.
In 1987 motors and computers were to costly so Tom spent the time working on the
various problems and techniques to make the machine. He finally discovered
Lego's MindStorm Robotic system in 2003 and spent three years slowly learning
the software, a very powerful high level language derived from National
Instruments' graphical language, LabView. On January 5th, 2007 at 9PM Tom
finally cracked the code to write the program and spent January, February and
March building the machine and writing the program. http://tomlohre.com
