  Re: ROBOLAB problem

Yes, that is an annoying misfeature of Robolab 2.0. I believe it is fixed in RoboLab 2.5 (due out Real Soon Now) where there is now an icon that resets before waiting and one that doesn't. In the meantime, you can code it yourself: <= - Jump X Land (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: RoboLab 2.x?

Yes, there are planned updates. I believe 2.5 should be out in the "near future". -Peter "Edward Cox" <ecox@bigpond.net.au> wrote in message news:GF0pK9.7Iw@lugnet.com... (...) a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: SubVI help screens

Yes you can create your own help screens, make your own command icon, etc. This is explained in detail in the "Elevator" chapter (Chapter 19) of my book "Creative Projects with LEGO Mindstorms". You can create your own help menu by double-clicking (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  SubVI help screens

I recently discovered the feature in RoboLab that lets you compact many program steps into one icon, using the command 'Create SubVI'. It's intuitive and easy to use. I suspect you can create help screens and change and label the icon it creates, (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Re: Dumb Q - How to get to Robolab Level5

I am new to Robolab. I find a level 5 in Investigator. There is a window in the top center that allows me to select Level 1 through 5. Hope this helps. -- Bob Fay rfay@we.mediaone.net (URL) <lwhite@pelicaneng.com> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Dumb Q - How to get to Robolab Level5

I used to know this, now I can't find the reference. Anyone? Hangs his head in shame, Larry (25 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Lie Detector with RCX

Fred Wolflink from Massachusetts College of Art made a nice lie detector. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Create your Lie Detector" (URL) (25 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics)

Robot Transfer Protocol (a Hack from MacHack)

(URL) Transfer Protocol is a way to transfer text data from one computer to another. For MacHack it turned a typed message into a dialog box on the other computer's screen. The phrase suggested by the audience was "Shave My Poodle"." -Ben (25 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: Rotation Sensor

Ben, Thanks for the response. I was interested in the "Wait for Rotation". I was not able to duplicate your suggestion, but I learned a great deal trying. Robolab is a very interesting approach to programming. I am glad that I have your book to lean (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)
