Are <# # #> TYPE working properly? I seem to be getting some strangeness.

Am I doing something wrong here (my FORTH is a bit rusty)?

  RCX_POWER [ HEX ] 4001 POWER_GET
  RCX_POWER @ [ DECIMAL ] 10997 390 */
  <# [CHAR] v HOLD # # # [CHAR] . HOLD #S #> TYPE

I really don't know, John. I'll have to experiment a bit too :-) I've
gotten really bogged down with work and can't spend much time on
pbFORTH until next weekend. It would be great if you could compile
a list of things you would like checked or better documentation
for. I was thinking of writing a simple tutorial for FORTH that was also
RCX specific.

Have you been following the replacement firmware thread too? It's
interesting how they want to strip Java down or make a better bytecode
interpreter. I still think that once pbFORTH gets the momentum, and
a better environment (Tcl based so it runs anywhere) it will
be a really neat bit of work, and usefl in educational courses.

I find kids pick up basic FORTH concepts faster than adults...

Cheers,
