Ok, here is the scoop.
I've done the following tests...
Installed Red Hat 6.2 Both rpm's worked just fine. (pre compiled & source)
Installed Mandrake 7.1 as a 'Developer' (w/ Extension CD) Pre Compiled rpm
failed. Same error.
Compiled rpm Source version... Worked!!! (Saved the file)
Installed Mandrake 7.1 as a workstation (w/ Extension CD) Pre Compiled rpm
failed. Same error.
Compiled rpm Source version... Failed. Copied over my compiled version.
Works!
I've saved my version that I copy over your rpm pre compiled version and it's
all fine.
As for a ManDrake Version, sure I can give you my compiled version that should
work just fine.
If people want to compile it themselves they need to install the developer
version of Mandrake 7.1
7.2 and beyond will, likely, be a different story.
Contact me via email if you would like to make a Mandrake 7.1 RPM.
