The included software is Windows only. I don't know if it could be
tricked into working under Virtual PC or not.

Just from the physical design of the camera though, I would think Lego
must have a Mac version in the works.

I am using a usb/firewire orange micro card in my 7500 power mac ( requires OS 8.6 or (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
