I am happy to announce that RCX Command Center version 3.0 is now available.
The new version uses NQC 2.0 and is completely compatible with it (e.g.
colorcoding, etc.) and contains a translator to translate NQC 1.x code to
NQC 2.0. The documentation has also been adapted to NQC 2.0. Two other major
changes with respect to version 2.3 are the possibility to send messages to
the RCX, and the fact that the program now uses the registry for all
settings and comes with an installer that creates a program group and
associates .nqc files to the program.
Differences with the beta version 3.0 are minor but you are still
recommended to upgrade. You can choose to uninstall the beta version first
(in which case you will loose all your settings, macro's, etc.) or not (in
which case six constants for setting the display will not be colorcoded.)
The tutorial has also been adapted to NQC 2.0 and is provided with the
distribution and available separately.
Of course the use of RcxCC is free as before.
