Hi John,

First of all, I want to tell you that I like to program in BricxCC. However,
there are some minor things I would like to mention to you.

There are four bugs (I think):

When I click on the maximize icon the window got maximazed. But when I want
to resize the window it doesn't allow me to. (I am using Win98).

Due to the previous problem I can't find anymore my template window....

Sometimes when I want to use the Help files, the Help window goes
directly to the background.

This is the most unwanted feature: When I want to use one of the tools
available in your program (let's say "watch" or "datalog") it disappears
into the background as soon as I want to change the main program. I really
don't like that. Is there not an option to get
these windows into the main window (dockable, let's say on the right side of
the NQC text window..... (At least I would like to see icons on the toolbar for
easy access...)

Well these are minor problems, but I just wanted to inform you. (maybe someone
else did this before, I don't have the patience to do a tedious search  :))

=======

To my enhancement request.

When I write my NQC program I select a RCX(2.0) program (1 to 5). However, when
I restart your program the default value is program 1. Furthermore, since
I also have the cybermaster, the brick settings are different.

SO: I really would like to see the option that within the NQC ascii file
a sort of ini file is written, so that your program has the right settings
at the startup when I double click on a NQC file.

Example of a line in NQC (Automatically generated, maybe with other details
of program such as Name, author, version, motor connection, sensor connection
...)

// Title ......
// RXC 2.0 1 1 3      (Brick, version, 0=serial/1=USB, comport/USBport,
program=3)
// ....

or

// Title ......
// CYB 1.0 0 2 1      (Brick, version, 0=serial, comport, program=1)
// ....

-------

Brick = RXC, CYB, SCT, MST,   (RXC, Cybermaster, Scout, Microscout)

If second line is missing or not in the right format: go to default settings.

With this I won't have the problem of overwriting my other programs....

Well, let me know what you think about this...

Guido
